City Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or turkey breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Bake chicken covered for 1 hour.
- Cut chicken into small chunks.
- Combine 1/2 cup flour, 2 minced garlic cloves , 1 pinch of salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a freezer bag.
- Shake chicken pieces with mixture in freezer bag to thoroughly coat each piece.
- In a large skillet or frying pan, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Brown chicken chunks turning frequently.
- Pour 1 can of cream of chicken soup over chicken.
- Add 2 cups of chicken broth and water.
- Bring to boiling.
- Reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until tender.
- Remove chicken and keep warm.
- Make extra sauce to serve with chicken.
- Combine the following ingredients in a pan.
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- Mix together. Heat and serve.
