Dairy-free Bechamel Sauce


  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5 to 6 garlic cloves, pressed or crushed
  • 4 to 5 tablespoons of flour
  • about 1/2 cup of oat milk


  1. Heat olive oil with garlic.
  2. Mix in flour, whisking constantly.
  3. Slowly add oat milk, whisking constantly, until it thickens to desired consistency.

This sauce works well as a pizza sauce and a pasta sauce.
